How to create a plant?
Click “Create a Plant”.
What kinds of information should be filled in to create a plant?
Plane Name, Plant Location, Plant Address, Plant Type, System Type, Capacity, Feed-in Tariff, Tilt Angle and etc,.
How about the update frequency of overview page?
The page will be updated manually.
How many status does power plant have?
Normal, Offline, Alerting, Constructing.
What is the statistical method of accumulated production?
1. via calculating the data uploaded by devices;
2. via summation of daily production.
How to export plant production?
Go to overview page to export.
How to calculate Peak Hours Today?
Peak Hours Today=Accumulated Production/Running Days/Capacity.
Why is there no consumption data?
Consumption data is provided by devices.If the device (e.g. inverter) you purchased does not provide consumption data, then consumption data will be –. If you do not wish to see — data, please switch system type to All on Grid.
Why is there no grid data?
Grid data is provided by devices.If the device (e.g. inverter) you purchased does not provide grid data, then gird data will be –. If you do not wish to see — data, please switch system type to All on Grid.

How to calculate total yields?
There are two algoritms for total yields. If you choose to calculate total production via total production data uploaded by devices, then Total Yields=Total Production*(Desulfurization Feed-in Tariff+Nation FIT+Province FIT+City FIT+County FIT);
If you choose to calculate total production via summation of daily production, then Total Yields=Daily Yield Summation. Daily Yield=Daily Production*(Desulfurization Feed-in Tafiff+Nation FIT+Province FIT+City FIT+County FIT).
If you choose All on Grid as system type, then Daily Yield=Daily Production*(Benchmark Price+Province FIT+City FIT+County FIT).
Benchmark price varies by region.

Ascending/Descending order according to capacity.
How to sort production power?
Ascending/Descending order according to production power.

Ascending/Descending order according to daily production.
How to sort updated time?
Updated time from near to far/from far to near.

How to set offset?
Go to “Plant Settings” to set offset for accumulated production and daily production.
How to calculate total yields?

How to create a work order?
Go to “Work Order” and click “Create”.
How many work order types does system support?
System supports O&M work order and general work order.
What formats of attachment can be uploaded?
BMP, JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, TXT, LOG, DOC, DOCX, uType, XLSX, PDF, word, excel and other formats.
Does SOLARMAN Business support Full-screen Display Mode?
Move the mouse to your avatar in the upper-right corner and click “Display” in the extension window.
Does the Full-screen Display Mode update dynamically? If so, what is the update interval?
Every 2 mins.
About Firmware
What formats of firmware can be uploaded?
bin、mot、img、hex、srec、raw、upg.
What kinds of devices support firmware upgrade?
Only inverter, logger and battery are supported.
How to upgrade the firmware?
1. Go to “Device”-“Firmware Upgrade”, and click “Firmware Management”-“Upload”.
2. Select the target inverter/logger/battery and firmware package.
3. Click “Upgrade” in the pop-up window.
Notice: Firmware upgrade only supports online devices. Please keep the device online.
Do all inverters support control function?
Device control only supports the inverter that has already adapted to control protocol.
About SIM Card
How to recharge a SIM card?
Go to “Device Library”-“Top Up”. (Notice: Batch recharge only supports 100 SIM cards at Max..)
Is batch recharge available for different SIM package?
Batch recharge is only available for same SIM package.
What kinds of payment methods are supported?
Only Alipay is supported.
How long will it take to restore SIM card?
It is expected in 1 day. If the SIM card has expired for a long time, please wait for 2-4 days.

About Hardware Products
Why is there no indicator lights on data logger?
1. Check power supply first.
2. Power off the logger and reboot the logger, then check if indicator lights run normally.

Does data logger support data resuming funtion? How about data storage period?
Data resuming function is supported.
System can store the data for 1-2 months, which is subject to the protocol.
Can customers use their own SIM card?
Yes. For overseas customers, manual APN configuration is required when using own SIM card.
Can data be transmitted to customer's platform?
Data logger can conduct data transmission according to SOLARMAN communication protocol. If the data need to be transmitted to customer’s platform, it requires development support based on SOLARMAN SDK.
What is the function of two switches on external GPRS data logger?
External GPRS data logger supports two-way 485. Each switch corresponds to 120Ω matching resistance of one-way 485 interface.
What's the line order of 485 network interface?
Please put the metal surface of network interface facing you.
How to connect data logger to multiple inverters?
1. Connect each inverter in series.
2. Connect a communication wire of the first/last inverter to data logger.
3. Set inverter COM address: 1.
What is the max. distance between WiFi data logger and router? Can it go through the wall?
The communication distance between data logger and router will vary according to the site environment. Usually, the distance can reach 200-300m in open area, without obstacles and interference. On the other hand, on referring to complex indoor environment, the number and material of bearing wall, as well as other interferences, it may affect the communication distance. So it is recommended to carry out an actual test in the actual scenario to select the appropriate installation location.
During the process of WiFi configuration, what should I do if the password/encoding method is wrong?
Please check if the password is correct.(Special characters are not recommended.)
After WiFi configuration is done, how can I know it is successful?
1. Connect to module AP address again and log in to 10.10.100.254 configuration page.
2. If remote server A is connected, it means the configuration is successful.
